Student Fees 2026-27
Student fees will be added to CBE Accounts on Thursday. This includes Transportation Fees, Lunch Supervision Fees and Student Supply Fees.
Field trip fees have now been added to accounts.
All students in grades 1-6 who stay for lunch, must be registered for supervision. If you did not get a chance to complete this registration, please register through your CBE Account.
All fees are paid through your MyCBE Account.
No child is ever denied access to an education in the Calgary Board of Education due to their family’s inability to pay. We know for some families, this can cause a financial hardship. There are a number of different options to pay fees, and waiver eligibility. Please visit the link below for more information.
MTS Casino
We are still in need of volunteers for our Casino Fundraiser.
To volunteer, you do not need to have a Police Clearance and you do not have to be a parent from MTS. Family and friends can support as well.
The event will be taking place on October 20 and 21 at Deerfoot Inn and Casino and we are still in need of volunteers.
This is our biggest fundraiser by far, usually raising $40,000-$80,000 for the school to use over the next three years. Proceeds fund residencies, subsidize field trip bussing, buy supplies that benefit the whole school such as library books, and much more.
How it works – We provide volunteers to work at Deerfoot Inn and Casino for two days and the casino donates some of the profits to the school. An advisor trains all the volunteers’ onsite so no prior experience or special skills are necessary.
Meals are included for volunteers during their shifts.

HALLOWEEN at MTS
MTS will be celebrating Halloween on Thursday, October 29.
A reminder to all participants to please leave any weapons or gory accessories that may go with your costume at home. Costumes must be non-violent in nature (no guns, swords, fake blood). If a mask is part of their Halloween costume, we ask that students not wear the mask at school as it may be disruptive to student learning.
Please do not send any treats with your child to share due to allergies and other medical concerns.
Students will be participating in classroom-based Halloween themed learning activities that are sure to be fun and engaging.
If you are interested in attending the Halloween Dance, we are only allow so many people in the gym and tickets go fast!

Fun Lunch
The next Fun Lunch day will be on October 28.
Fun Lunch is only for grades 1-4 and our EES students.
- Go to healthyhunger.ca
- Log into you existing account or create a new one.
- Add your child’s information in the “add child” box – name, province, city, school, grade and class.
- All Fun Lunches will then populate – select the order now button!
Please make sure to send a morning snack with your child on Fun Lunch Days.
Food Support
Did you know that the Breakfast Club of Canada has shared research demonstrating that 40% of Alberta’s children experience food insecurity? This means that 4 out of 10 children do not have access to food when they are hungry.
If your family is experiencing challenges with providing food for your children you can find help at Brown Bagging Calgary.
