Demographic Verification Forms
A number of families still need to complete their Demographic Verification Forms on their CBE Account.
It is a legal requirement from Alberta Education for funding purposes for every family to complete these forms.

3 Left Feet Performances
On Thursday, families are invited to come and watch their student in their dance performance.
There will be 3 Showcase times.
Showcase 1
8:30am-9:15am - AM Bitz, AM Rupert, Fell, Sharma, Massey
Showcase 2
10:00am-10:45am - AM Penfold, Larmer, Carter, Pynn, Janisse
Showcase 3
12:45pm-1:30pm - PM Bitz, PM Rupert, Watson, Burch, Thomson
Orange Shirt Day
This week, students will spend time reflecting on the meaning of Orange Shirt Day.
On Friday, staff and students are encouraged to wear their Orange Shirts.
The grade 3 students will be leading the Orange Shirt Day assembly. The assembly will start at 10:30am. Please feel free to join us for this important event to honour the experiences of children who attended residential schools.
Tuesday, September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. All CBE schools will be closed.
Fun Lunch
Today is Fun Lunch Day.
Fun Lunch is only for grades 1-4 and our EES students.
- Go to healthyhunger.ca
- Log into you existing account or create a new one.
- Add your child’s information in the “add child” box – name, province, city, school, grade and class.
- All Fun Lunches will then populate – select the order now button!
Please make sure to send a morning snack with your child on Fun Lunch Days. Orders must be placed by the Friday before the day.
Alien In-Line Volunteers Needed
Alien In-Line skating is back this year! This is for students in grades 3 & 4 as well as EES classes. We need Grade 3 and 4 parents to help students with sizing, getting their skates and safety equipment on and off, and helping struggling skaters.
Mr. V is looking for 1 - 2 volunteers for each time slot. There are two availabilities per slot in the event a parent can only stay for the time their child is skating, but we welcome parents to stay for the full time or sign up for multiple slots. Attached is a tentative class schedule so volunteers are aware of their child’s skate time.
